It’s summer and I’m sure just like me, my readers are searching for a decent safe sunblock! I did some research for us and scoured the internet for the best, safest, natural sunscreens and checked them against the Cosmetic Safety Database. I made sure each sunscreen checked out safe according to their lab test results. And these guys are tough! Most health food store brands don’t check out well with them! So you really need to be careful even in a Natural store where we tend to just trust they’ve filtered out the harmful products for us. Not always the case!
Kiss My Face Sunblock - SPF 30 With Oat Protein
Alba Botanica Water-Resistant Sunblock SPF 30
All Terrain Sunblock AquaSport SPF 30
Nature’s Gate Sunblock SPF 30
This is what my research has turned up in the way of safe sunscreens! I’ve always quite liked the Alba brand a lot. It feels very light! Feel free to share others that you know of in the comments!

I use the Badger Sunblock SPF 30. It is pretty good as well. You need to rub it in real good or you will look like a ghost. It was also in the cosmetic safety database.

Did you know that coconut oil is a natural sunscreen. No additives or dyes, just plain coconut oil.
Protects from the sun and moisturizes the skin, and heals the skin.
Check out my pages devoted to the benefits of coconut oil.
Thanks, Grandma Betty
