The Health Properties of Endives
Written by admin on August 10, 2008 – 2:12 pmI don’t know what has gotten in to me lately but for the past few months I absolutely have to eat Belgium Endives at least once a week! Every time I go grocery shopping they look at me and say to me “you know you can’t leave me here!”.
They are bitter and I seem to crave that bitter taste and I combine it with agave nectar or honey, balsamic vinagrette, green apples or pears, walnuts and goat cheese. An absolutely divine combination!
