My father is in his late 50′s and barely has a wrinkle. I love visiting my dad because I eagerly dive into his bathroom cupboards for all the fancy natural anti-aging lotions and potions I can’t afford and usually make off with a few bottles without getting caught! I think it’s great that my dad cares and goes to greater lengths than most woman in search for the perfect product.
My father has 4 brothers- all of whom are heavily wrinkled. Granted all of them smoke cigarettes (my father doesn’t). Not smoking is the number one step to skincare. The skin potions pick up a lot of the slack from the plenty of other unhealthy habits my father has.
My father has the full spectrum of skincare (face wash, toner, peeling masks, exfoliates, toners, eye creams, neck creams and daily moisturizer and night moisturizer). I can only afford to keep one multipurpose jar of high quality pure lotion- that will have to cover as day, night and SPF protection (and the few stolen from dad).
His products though vast exhibit common characteristics: organic and free of toxins.
So there you have it! My Father’s potions have taught me that this type of skincare regimen does bring results! And the quality and purity of the ingredients matters!

His skin looks good and he looks very youthful.

Jade, I like the photo, but I think your dad looks much better in real life…the photo does not due him justice! Perhaps you want an updated photo…I think I have one somewhere…I will send it to you…You are so right about smoking making people look old before their time…I also notice that too much sun, bad diet, and too much drinking takes its toll…In fact, I feel process food which I now call Indian Reservation food(no insult to American Indians as they had a great diet until Europeans took thier country away)is a real problem. It is the food that comes in a can like peaches, instant milk, spam, or white flour products mixed with cheap oil and lots of sugar…that stuff. Mostly this food is white, yellow,or various shades of brown…just not natural. I think that cheap process food ages people from the inside out. I saw some older people in Thailand who ate mostly fresh fruit, vegies, and fish…they had the skin tone and appearance of someone 20-30 years younger…hmmm….makes you think!
